Paraguay Working Together; a project to support decentralised and coordinated social services

The Government of Paraguay is seeking to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and transparency of social services. Discussions with public sector agencies in Australia revealed a great willingness to share experience and knowledge with counterparts from Paraguay by providing exposure to an array of service model examples and methods.

With this in mind, Community Works offered to facilitate an Australian Study Tour by a senior delegation from the Government of Paraguay. Government Ministries of Paraguay involved in the reform of social services nominated representatives to participate. The intensive learning experience documented in the attached ebook demonstrates the support that so many people gave during the visit as a contribution to social services for the people of Paraguay.
